Haus der Kulturen der Welt

Exhibition graphic and publication design for »Love and Ethnology — The Colonial Dialectic of Sensitivity (after Hubert Fichte)«. The exhibition examines Hubert Fichte’s writing and takes it as the starting point for new artistic works on questions of representation and restitution, dissolution of boundaries, and updating colonial power relations.
The dialectic of his thinking is represented by changing text alignements. The colorful line symbolizes Fichtes seesaw between two poles.
Curated by Diedrich Diederichsen and Anselm Franke.
